Cutthroat is out. Inclusion is in.
Cutthroat is out. Inclusion is in.
In a world growing increasingly smaller and less private, the days of hiding truths are steadily coming to an end. Our current climate has demanded attention be brought to inequality and exclusion. The ability to hide the myriad displays of isms-racism, ageism, sexism, heterosexism, favoritism-are becoming increasingly difficult. Which has forced many under the rug topics out into the arena of public discussion.
With this new lens, we are starting to recognize that inclusion should be the new norm. The space for frank interactions has grown, resulting in a world that is realizing the potential strength being on equal committed grounds can bring.
So why do we continue to fight it? This thought of total transparency and inclusion? Why do we continue to sabotage our own potential for greatness?
It’s time for us humans to realize that this cutthroat, dog-eat-dog mentality is going to be the downfall of us all. So I vote for cutthroat to be out once and for all, and for total inclusion to be, well, in.
